I think I have hopped here a few times before but never left trail, this is my first line here.
Ur entry on ur late mum-in-law really touches me, because just like you I too had also lost my mum-in-law and I am married to her youngest/most dearest son. While I can sense from ur entries that you had been a tremendously nice daughter-in-law from faraway land, I on the other hand had not always treated her nicely, but I learnt my lessons well. I too miss my arwah MIL very much!!!

I dah baca cerita Anne tu, very touching, funny too.
Can't imagine her smoking in front of yr parents or pakai kasut dlm rumah, hehe...
Tapi kan Simah...elok la u tak reti masak. Kalau reti masakan melayu pun, gi sana kena belajar lain...hahahaha...

memang myparents terkejut bagak bila tengok mak halil merokok masa tu!! hahaha even bapak halil tak merokok.. tapi tu la kan...cultural differences..
betul jugak tu.. tapi kan hazia..la ni bila teringin nak masak makanan mesia..jenuh laaaa i nak kena tepon my mom nunnnn kat mesia sana tanya resepi (dah la bahan tak cukup kat sini).. tapi nasib baik la ada resepi blogs dari kengkawan bloggers ni..so ok la...sonang sikit kojo eden :0)

Oh, lagi satu, Anne tu suka dapat menantu yg buat anak dia mahu spend time dgn dia hari2...tak kisah la tak reti masak pun, itu secondary. At least u all often keep her company. Some mum-in-laws are like that, including my mum.
Anak bongsu kan pampered, so bini ada bongsu pun automatically kena pampered jugak la. Hehe...
Kalau u pandai masak tapi jarang gi rumah dia, I rasa she wont be favour u so much lah:P
